    Seniors can take advantage of our programs for all ages. Check out the fun classes in our recreation guide or take part in an organization listed below.

    Employment Program

    EastBay Works Senior Employment Program is available for your use.
    For more than 44 years, programs like this one have assisted low income older adults in getting jobs/training/experience and more by placing our participants in local community service non-profit agencies, government departments, and educational and public institutions.

    CLUBS AND ORGANIZATIONS 

    OAKLEY SUNDAY SENIORS CLUB
    If you are 55 or older, come join the "Oakley Sunday Seniors Club."  Joining this group is a great way to socialize, be active in the community, and provides a fantastics way to have fun!
    Dues are only $5.00 per year,  The club meets once a month and plays BINGO at every meeting.  Trips and outings are planned throughout the year.

    WI CHA KA COUNCIL
    Join this dynamic group and meet interesting people, work in the community, and have fun.  Meetings are the third Sunday of each month around noon.

    BINGO

    Come and experience the grandeur of our Bingo Nights at the Flor Do Oakley.  Both smoking and Non-smoking play is available and BIngo Nights may be found in Bethel Island as well. Please call the Flor Do Oakley for dates and times of Bingo

    SENIOR OUTREACH SERVICES

    Senior Outreach Services mission is to maintain health and wellness safety nets so seniors can live at a home in safety, in comfort and with dignity.  Services provided include: Friendly Visitors, Home Chores and Care Management. 
     

    FRIENDLY VISITORS
    Friendly Visitors will visit you weekly to take you shopping, help with errands, or sit with a cup of tea and hear about your life's experiences.
    Fee: Free

    HOME CHORES
    This program is for seniors who need light housework, personal care, shopping, and yard work - all at a reasonable fee.

    CARE MANAGEMENT
    Care managers help seniors decide what services they need to remain as independent as possible.
    Fee: Free
