The City of Oakley is proud to announce a Franchise Matchmaking Program.

The City strives to attract vibrant and interesting businesses that provide our residents with variety and that add to Oakley's quality of life.  Oakley has many business-friendly amenities, including abundant and affordable space that is easily accessible via major road, rail, and water transport corridors. Oakley is committed to develop and grow into a comprehensive retail, commercial, and  light industrial region.

The “O” in Oakley stands for Opportunity!

In order to encourage entrepreneurs, the City has established a program to match franchisers with franchisees.

    The Program will:

    • Determine what franchisers are looking to expand into Northern California

    • Identify if there are current holders of franchise rights in this area

    • Seek persons interested in being franchisees

    • Assist potential franchisees in understanding the basic requirements of the franchise

    • Facilitate communication between potential franchisee and potential franchiser

    • Serve as an information resource for franchisers and franchisees

For your information and convenience, please find frequently asked questions regarding franchises and general franchise information. Other useful pages include demographics and facts about the City of Oakley.

Once you have decided on a franchise, please visit the web site section on available properties to match the franchise requirements with one of Oakley's many available sites and contact the City for assistance.

We wish you a happy and successful venture!
