    Currently there are no open bids with the City of Oakley. Thank you for your interest.

     

    CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM BID PROCESS STEPS

    • A public notice is posted in the legal section of the local newspaper.
    • Builder's exchanges are notified of the project.
    • Plans and specifications are made available for purchase at the City of Oakley Public Works and Engineering Division or the department managing the project. (Non-refundable fees are based on document production costs.) A set of plans and specifications is sent at a builder's request.
    • The bid opening date is determined.
    • A Plan-holder's list can be viewed at the Community Development Department counter, at the builder's exchanges, or contact the Public Works/Engineering Division at 925-625-7037 for a copy.
    • Once the bidding opens, results are faxed to the builder's exchanges and are also available by telephone.
    • The apparent low bid is verified.
    • City staff forwards the project to the City Council for approval/disapproval.
    • City Council authorizes/denies contract for the work.
